India crossed the 50-medal mark at the Hangzhou Asian Games on October 1 when Nandini Agasara won the bronze in the women’s heptathlon 800m.

• As it rained medals on Day 8, India won golds in men’s trap shooting, men’s 3,000m steeple chase and men’s shot put events.
• Indian athletes added 7 silvers and 5 bronzes. In the 100m hurdles, initially it was announced that Jyothi Yarraji clinched the bronze but it was later upgraded to silver as Wu Yanni was disqualified due to false start.
