An adult worker who has joined on 1^st January, 2022 in a factory and worked for 220 days during the year has been laid off for 25 days as per Standing Orders during the year. How many days of leave with wages shall he be entitled to during the calendar year 2023 ?

Explanation:

As per the provisions of the Act, an adult worker working for 220 days and has been laid off for 25 days shall be deemed to be worked for 245 days during the previous year. He shall be entitled to the leave as he crossed the limit of 240 days but leave shall only be credited for 220 days which comes out to be 11 days (one day for every twenty days).
