As per the provisions of the Act, an adult worker working for 220 days and has been laid off for 25 days shall be deemed to be worked for 245 days during the previous year. He shall be entitled to the leave as he crossed the limit of 240 days but leave shall only be credited for 220 days which comes out to be 11 days (one day for every twenty days).
