Standing Order finally certified under the Industrial Employment (Standing Order) Act, 1946 shall come into operation when an appeal has been made:

on the expiry of 30 days from the date on which standing order certified

on the expiry of 7days from the date appellate Authority decision given

on the date on which standing order certified

on the expiry of 60 days from the date on which standing order certified

Explanation:

Standing Orders shall come into operation on the expiry of 30 days from the date on which the authenticated copies are sent to employer and workers representatives or where an appeal has been preferred, they will become effective on the expiry of 7 days from the date on which copies of the order of the appellate authority are sent to employer and workers representatives. (Section 7)
