International Day of Radiology

The International Day of Radiology (IDoR) is held annually on November 8 to promote the role of medical imaging in modern healthcare.
The day also marks the anniversary of the discovery of x-rays by Wilhelm Roentgen in 1895.
The theme for 2020 is ‘Radiologists and radiographers supporting patients during COVID-19’.
World Radiology Day was first celebrated in the year 2012.
