Explanation:

Every woman entitled to maternity benefit under this Act shall also be entitled to receive from her employer a medical bonus of twenty-five rupees, if no pre-natal confinement and post-natal care is provided for by the employer free of charge.

The question does not ask the present bonus but the provision as per the Act of 1961. Thus, option 'b' is the best option as per the question

The medical bonus in the original Maternity Benefit Act was Rs 25 only which enhanced upto Rs. 1000/- vide amendment of year 2008 and further to Rs 3,500 vide amendment incorporated in 2017
