Rajeev Taranath to receive SVN Rao National Award

Sarod maestro Rajiv Taranath has been chosen for S V Narayanaswamy Rao National Award 2020.
He will be conferred with the award on 4th April 2020 by the Sree Ram Seva Mandali Trust in Bengaluru.
The Shivarpatna Vasudev Rao Narayanaswamy Rao founded the Sree Ram Seva Mandali at the age of 14, in 1939.
The first SVN Rao award was presented in 2020 to renowned vocalist M S Subbulakshmi.
Rajeev Taranath was also conferred with Padma Shri in 2019.
