A business man contacted you and asked you to come to his shop as he has something very confidential to discuss. When you reached there, he showed you that he is having Rs. 5000 worth of Rs. 500 notes which are counterfeit. He told you that he was deceived by one of the customers who cheated him with these notes. However, he does not want to report the matter formally as police will seize the counterfeit currency as evidence and he will end up losing all the money. He wanted you to investigate the case but he does not want to give the counterfeit currency and he will try to peddle them off. what should be your first response?

Tell the shopkeeper that you will accept his request and work accordingly

Tell the shopkeeper that you cannot help him until and unless he registers the complaint formally

Tell the shopkeeper that he needs to give the entire amount to him so that he can investigate
