Consider the following in respect of prime number p and composite number c

1. (p+c)/(p-c) can be even.

2. 2p + c can be odd.

3. pc can be odd.

- Statement 1: (p+c)/(p-c) can be even.

- Example: Let p = 3 (prime), c = 9 (composite). Then (3+9)/(3-9) = 12/-6 = -2, which is even.

- Statement 2: 2p + c can be odd.

- Example: Let p = 3 (prime), c = 4 (composite). Then 2*3 + 4 = 10, which is even.

- However, if p=2 (even prime) and c = 3 (odd composite), then 2*2 + 3 = 7, which is odd.

- Statement 3: pc can be odd.

If p=3 and c =9

then pc =27

it is odd.
