Statement 1 is incorrect- Gondwana beds are known for coal deposits not natural gas. Gondwana coal makes up to 98 per cent of the total reserves and 99 per cent of the production of coal in India. Natural gas is obtained alongwith oil in all the oil fields but exclusive reserves have been located along the eastern coast as well as in Tamil Nadu, Orissa and Andhra Pradesh, Tripura, Rajasthan and off-shore wells in Gujarat and Maharashtra.
Statement 2 is correct- The Koderma district and the Lokai-Indarwa area covers the southern part of Great Mica-Belt of Jharkhand, Bihar and India.
Statement 3 is incorrect- The Dharwars are rich in iron ore, manganese, lead, zinc, gold, silver etc. and not known for petroleum
