    Explanation:

    Let length = 2x meters and breadth = 5x.                                      

    Now, area = (1/4 ×1000) m2 = 250 m2

    So, 2x×5x = 250  

    x2  = 250/10    =>   x2 = 25

    Length = 2x = 2×5 = 10m  

    and breadth = 5x = 5×5m = 25m
