    Let downstream be DSS, Upstream be USS.
    Speed of boat is x and speed of current be y.
    Then,
     DSS =  60/6 = 10 kmph
     USS = 36/6 = 6 kmph
     now, x = (10+6)/2 = 8 kmph.
     y = (10-6)/2
     y = 2 kmph
    speed of current = 2kmph
