Assam Govt launches "Abhinandan Scheme" for students

Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal has launched an Education Loan Subsidy scheme called "Abhinandan" in Guwahati.
The scheme will provide a one-time subsidy of up to Rs 50,000 to all educational loans that sanctioned till 31st March, 2019.
The minimum education loan amount sanctioned to avail the benefits under the scheme should be Rs. 1 lakhs.It covers all school students who are permanent residents of the state, studying in the inside / outside the state & there are no income criteria.
