$\frac{1}{a+\frac{1}{b+\frac{1}{c+\frac{1}{2}}}} = \frac{16}{23}\: ,$

Then what is the mean of a,b and c?

$\frac{16}{23}\: = \frac{1}{\frac{23}{16}} = \frac{1}{1+\frac{7}{16}}=\frac{1}{1+\frac{1}{\frac{16}{17}}}$

$=\frac{1}{1+(\frac{1}{2+\frac{1}{\frac{7}{2}}})}$

On comparing equations we get a= 1 , b = 2 and c = 3 Mean = a+b+c/3 = 6/3 = 2
