If α and β are the roots of the equation ax² + bx + c = 0, then what is the value of the expression (α + 1)(β + 1) ?

(a + b + c) / a

(b + c – a) / a

( a – b + c )/ a

(a + b – c) / a

ax²+ bx +c = 0; roots of this equation are α and β

Thus, α + β = -b/a and α β = c/a

Now, (α+1)(β+1) = α β+ α +β+1

Putting the values; = c/a –b/a +1 = (c – b + a)/ a
