In $\Delta$ BCD & $\Delta$ ACB
$\angle$ BCD = $\angle$ ACB
$\angle$ BDC = $\angle$ ABC = 90^o
$\Delta$ BCD $\sim$ $\Delta$ ACB
$\frac{BC}{AC}=\frac{CD}{CB}$
BC² = CD.AC = 4x13= 52
In $\Delta$ BCD
BC² = BD² + CD²
52 = BD² + 4²
BD² = 36 , BD= 6
