Sides of a triangle are in the ratio =1/2:1/3:1/4= 6 : 4 :3
x Involves in ratio so that sides of a triangle 6x, 4x and 3x respectively.
Perimeter of a triangle = Sum of all sides of a triangle
⇒52 = 6x + 4x + 3x
⇒ 52 = 13x
∴x =52/13= 4
∴ Smallest side of a triangle = 3x = 3 × 4 = 12 cm
