Sangama Dynasty:- The period of Sangama dynasty was from 1336 to 1485 A.D. Hari Hara I was the first ruler of this dynasty. Devaraya II who also known as Prauda Devaraya was greatest among all the rulers of Sangama Dynasty. During his reign Persian ambassador visited Vijayanagara kingdom. Virupaksha II was the last ruler of the Sangama dynasty. Saluva Dynasty:- Saluva dynasty ruled Vijayanagara Empire from 1486 to 1505 A.D. Saluva Narasimha was the founder of this dynasty. He ruled upto 1490. Later Immadi Narasimha ascended the throne in 1491 and ruled upto 1505. Tuluva Dynasty:- After Saluva dynasty Tuluva dynasty ruled Vijayanagara kingdom from 1505 to 1570 A.D. The famous ruler Srikrishna Devaraya belongs to Tuluva dynasty. Tuluva Narasanayaka was the founder of Tuluva dynasty. Aravidu Dynasty:- Aravidu dynasty was the last dynasty that ruled from Penugonda from 1570 to 1646 A.D. Tirumalaraya was the first ruler of this dynasty. Sriranga III was the last ruler. Bahamani and Vijayanagara kingdoms fought each other for the possession of Raichur doab.
