=> The Assam government has notified the Assam Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Roadmap 2030.

=> Aim of DRR Roadmap is to achieve total resilience by establishing a multi-stakeholder mechanism involving all departments.

=> Fund-3% of Non salary state budget from FY 2023-24.

=> The roadmap seeks to promote policy coherence relevant to disaster risk reduction, sustainable development, gender equity, poverty reduction and climate change, particularly with the United Nations SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and the Paris Climate Agreement.

=> The Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) shall act as an enabler, facilitator and coordinator in realizing the goals mentioned in the DRR Roadmap.

=> A 23-member State Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction for guiding and monitoring the implementation of the roadmap.

=> It will be headed by the Chief Minister.
