=> Rapidly proliferating invasive plant species, including trees, shrubs and climbers, have posed a serious threat to Kaziranga National Park’s flora and fauna.

=> A number of species as invasive that includes tree species of Bombax ceiba (semul), Trewia nudiflora (gutel/bhelkar), Crataeva nurvala (barun), Lagerstroemia speciosa (ejhar), and Lagerstroemia parviflora (sidha), shrub species of Litsea salicifolia (dighloti), Securinega virosa (panisikoti), Leea macrophylla (kukurathengia), Rosa involucrate (wild rose/bonoria golap), Lippia alba (bontulasi/kuhum kata bon), and Cestrum diurnum (din ka raja), and climber varieties of Derris cuneifloia (rumet in Karbi), Calamus tenuis (bet), Mikenia micrantha (mikenia), and Eupatorium odoratum (Germany bon).
