The Anglo-Sikh War Memorial at Ferozeshah , Ferozepur is dedicated to the two wars that the Sikh Empire fought against the British East India Company following the death of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. A short distance from the historic battlefield of Ferozshah, the memorial is built on the banks of the Rajasthan Canal. The three-storied building displays weapons from the Anglo-Sikh Wars, as well as, paintings depicting major battles that cemented British supremacy in the subcontinent. The celebrated poetry of Shah Muhammad, best known for his Jangnama, a contemporary account of the First Anglo-Sikh War, is inscribed on bronze plaques and adorns the museum walls.
