Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was a 15th century Indian saint considered to be the combined avatar of Radha and Krishna by his disciples. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's mode of worshipping Krishna with ecstatic song and dance had a profound effect on Vaishnavism in Bengal.
