This is the first North South Corridor of Bihar The total length of this road will be 189 km. This express will pass through 7 districts of Bihar Gaya, Jehanabad, Nalanda, Patna, Vaishali, Samastipur and Darbhanga. Acquisition of 1300 hectares of land has started for the construction of this highway under Bharatmala project. Considering the importance of this highway extending from the northern end of the state to the southern end, the state government has decided to connect Bodh Gaya in Gaya district, Rajgir in Nalanda district and Vaishali, an international tourist destination located in Vaishali district, with this highway.
