The government of Rajasthan has recently announced a new farm land fencing policy for farmers.
As per the government’s recent announcement, the state administration will pay a grant of 50 per cent or up to Rs 40,000 to each farmer to fence their lands to keep out stray cattle.
Under the National Food Security Mission Tilhan, which plans to make India self-sufficient in oilseeds, the farmers in Rajasthan will be helped to put up chain-link fences around their farmlands.
