Explanation:

Recently, Dal Lake in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar got its first floating ATM.

This ATM has been introduced for the convenience of the people living on the lake as well as the tourists staying in houseboats.

This ATM has been installed by the State Bank of India.

It must be noted here that this isn't the first floating ATM from SBI.

The bank launched its first floating cash dispenser in Kerala in 2004.

It was installed on a Jhankar (ferry which transports vehicles and passengers) owned by the Kerala Shipping and Inland Navigation Corporation (KSINC).

It operates between the Ernakulam and Vaypeyan regions.
