Recently, Jammu and Kashmir government has signed four pacts with Stock exchange BSE.
The objective of the pacts is to spread financial awareness, support economic development and encourage sustainable livelihood of the youth in the Union territory.
The memorandums of understanding (MoUs) were signed by the office bearers of the BSE and representatives of Mission Youth the presence of the Lieutenant Governor at Raj Bhawan.
Under the Mission Youth, the Jammu and Kashmir government has already been continuously working on various policy and process interventions targeted at the young population of the region.

Jammu & Kashmir government launched Mission Youth as an ambitious initiative for the youth in the UT which aims at holistic development of the young population of the region
Youth mission aims at supporting youth for achieving their aspirations and thereby shaping their future prospects.
It also provides financial assistance to the eligible youngsters so that they are able to follow their dreams.
Besides encouraging the youth to take up self-employment opportunities/ income generating activities, Youth mission is also mandated to provide skill development training and professional counselling.
It makes all feasible efforts for youth engagement and empowerment so as to enable the youth to contribute to the economic development of the region.
Youth mission covers all the 20 districts of J&K.
