The state government will now give the benefit of post-admission scholarship even on the family income of 2.5 lakhs. Such students of other backward classes who come under the post admission scholarship scheme, were given scholarship only if their family income is 1.5 lakh rupees, the family income has now been increased from 1.5 lakh rupees to 2.5 lakh rupees. The central government bears the entire expenditure on this scheme, the states have the right that the state government can cover the children who have been deprived of this scheme. In 2021, Rs 11398 lakh has been received from the central government under this scheme.
