Directions : In each of the following questions, four sentences are given. If there is no error in any of the sentences, choose (e), i.e. “All are correct” as the answer.
Give answer as per passage
The Guardian tells us that for the first time in more than 80 years, regular performances are to be staged at a huge, abandoned Victorian theatre hidden inside Alexandra Palace, north London.
Singer Kate Bush has written an inscription for a stone that will be placed near to the home of the Bronte sisters on the Yorkshire moors.
An article in the Daily Express explains that research by family history firm Ancestry shows that the average UK adult has more than 16,000 living relatives and most are completely unknown to them.
The BBC tells us that the UK's first polar bear cub to be born in 25 years is male.
All are correct
Here Sentence (b) is the incorrect. The use of ‘to’ after ‘near’ is superfluous as ‘near’ itself is a preposition which does not take any preposition after it. All the other sentences are grammatically correct. Hence option (b) is the correct choice.
