India's mining and non-ferrous metal sectors have achieved record-breaking production levels in FY 2024–25, building upon the momentum of the previous fiscal year.

Key Highlights:

• Irone Ore Production reached 289 million metric tonnes (MMT), marking a 4.3% increase from 277 MMT in FY 2023–24.
• Bauxite Ore Output rose to 24.7 MMT, up 2.9% from 24 MMT in the previous fiscal year.
• Manganese Ore Production increased by 11.8%, reaching 3.8 MMT compared to 3.4 MMT in FY 2023–24.
• Primary Aluminium Production grew to 4.2 million tonnes, a 0.9% rise from 4.16 million tonnes in the previous year.
• Refined Copper Output saw a significant 12.6% increase, reaching 573,000 tonnes from 509,000 tonnes in FY 2023–24.
• Lead Concentrate Production rose by 3.1%, totaling 393,000 tonnes compared to 381,000 tonnes in the previous fiscal year.
