Energy solutions company, Amara Raja Power Systems Ltd. (ARPSL), has recently received a contract from National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) to set up India's first green hydrogen fuelling station in Leh.

• The pilot project is being set up in the extreme conditions of Leh, at an altitude of 3,600 metres above sea level.
• ARPSL says that this project will be part of the National Hydrogen Energy Mission, which will lead to large-scale green hydrogen mobility and storage projects. The learning from this will also be useful for deploying similar fuel stations across India.
