Former Haryana CM Om Prakash Chautala passes away

Former Haryana chief minister and Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) supremo Om Prakash Chautala passed away Friday afternoon at his Gurugram residence. He was 89.

Chautala was the chief minister of Haryana for a record five times and was the son of former deputy prime minister Devi Lal.
Family sources said that Chautala would be cremated at Teja Khera in Sirsa district on Saturday afternoon (21 December 2024).
Chautala is survived by his two sons Ajay Singh Chautala and Abhay Singh Chautala and three daughters.
