Wriddhiman Saha announces retirement from all forms of cricket

Wriddhiman Saha has announced his decision to conclude his cricket career following the current Ranji Trophy season.

  • The skilled wicketkeeper-batsman played 40 Test matches for India from 2010 to 2021.
  • He also appeared in 170 Indian Premier League (IPL) matches, representing various teams including Kolkata Knight Riders, Punjab Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans.
  • Wriddhiman Saha started his First-Class career in 2007, Saha spent 15 years playing for Bengal before moving to Tripura.
  • In his international career spanning 40 Tests and 9 ODIs, Saha scored over 1300 runs, including three centuries and six half-centuries.
    His Test record includes 92 includes 92 catches and 12 stumpings.
