The Isha Foundation, known globally for its spiritual endeavors, is set to construct a towering 242-ft Adiyogi (Lord Shiva) statue near Jewar Airport, following approval from the Ministry of Civil Aviation. 

• The Ministry of Civil Aviation has greenlit the Isha Foundation’s proposal, marking a significant step towards realizing the majestic Adiyogi statue and the accompanying ashram.
• Efforts led by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, the foundation’s founder, included discussions with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, ultimately securing the necessary approvals.
• For the project’s execution, the Isha Foundation has requisitioned approximately 200 acres of land near Jewar Airport from the Yamuna Authority.
• This sizable land allocation underscores the grand scale of the envisioned endeavor.
• The Isha Foundation already boasts the tallest Adiyogi statue globally, standing at 112 feet in the Isha Yoga Center, Coimbatore.
