The Rajasthan government has launched the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Poverty-Free Village Scheme to empower rural BPL families through financial aid, self-employment support, and social welfare integration. This initiative aims to make villages self-reliant and uplift thousands of families from poverty. The scheme was officially launched on July 4, 2025, by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, with a total outlay of ?300 crore for the first phase.
