Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Jayanti 2023 - National Unity Day

31 October 2023 is celebrated as Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel’s Birthday. His contribution to the unity of India is incredible and Every year we celebrate Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Jayanti as National Unity Day (Ekta Diwas) on this date.
Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel’s birthday which falls on 31 October is also celebrated as National Unity Day. At the Gujarati Bardoli Satyagraha in 1928, he was given the title Sardar, which means chief or leader in Gujarati and most other Indian languages.
The Bardoli Satyagraha is seen as a key example of civil disobedience and resistance in the Indian Independence Movement. Sardar Patel was arrested roughly ten times between 1930 and 1945 due to his beliefs and actions.
