History
World Accreditation Day came into existence in 2007 as a result of a joint effort between the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and the International Accreditation Forum (IAF). The initial commemoration occurred in 2008 and cantered around the theme “Accreditation: Delivering Trust in the Global Market."
