Direction (): In the following question, there are two equations. Solve the equations and answer accordingly:

2x² - 7x + 5 = 0

2y² + 4y – 6 = 0

If X > Y

If X < Y

If X ≥ Y

If X ≤ Y

2x² - 7x + 5 = 0

2x² - 2x - 5x + 5=0

2x(x-1) -5(x-1) = 0

(x-1)(2x-5)=0

x= 1, 5/2

2y² + 4y – 6 = 0

2y² + 6y - 2y -6 =0

2y(y+3) -2(y+3) = 0

(2y-2)(y+3) = 0 y= 1, -3

On comparing we get, x =y or x>y
