On Tuesday the White House announced that it will host the Summit for Democracy and as (1) by many experts China, the self proclaimed democratic nation, trying to put a spoke in US' (2). China claims that in the country elections are regularly held after every 5 years for the country's parliament called National Peoples Congress but the actual meaning of democracy seems to be (3) to the Chinese leaders because before contesting the election a candidate needs the approval of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
