Mumbai: Kala Ghoda festival returns after a gap of 2 years

The Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, Asia's largest multicultural festival, began on 4th February 2023 and will continue till 12th February 2023. The festival had taken a break for two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

  • The festival is usually held in the Kala Ghoda Art district of South Bombay, stretching from the Regal Circle at the southern end to the Mumbai University at the northern end, and further expanding to the Oval Maidan in the west to the Lion Gate at the end.
  • This year's Kala Ghoda Arts Festival has the theme of "Past Forward." Chairperson of the festival, Brinda Miller, stated that the festival is for the people and by the people, and is organized by the Kala Ghoda Association.
