Home Minister releases book on CRPF’s history titled ‘Rashtra Pratham – 82 varshon ki Swarnim Gatha’

Home Minister Amit Shah recently released a book titled ‘Rashtra Pratham – 82 varshon ki Swarnim Gatha’ (Nation First – The Golden Story of 82 Years) in New Delhi.
The book chronicles around the glorious history of CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) since its raising in 1939.
It presents a detailed and thorough information about CRPF’s journey, challenges, successes, and sacrifices.
The CRPF celebrated its first-ever Veterans Day on February 19, 2021, which was on Friday.
From now on every third Friday of February will be celebrated as the Veterans Day of the CRPF every year.
