India is set to celebrate the 10th anniversary of International Yoga Day (IDY) on June 21, 2025, with Visakhapatnam chosen as the national host city.

The Ministry of AYUSH and the Andhra Pradesh government are organizing large-scale celebrations under the ambitious ‘Yogandhra’ campaign aimed at public health and employment through yoga.

• Visakhapatnam has been selected as the central venue for the 10th International Yoga Day celebrations, reinforcing its growing role in national wellness initiatives.
• The event is expected to witness participation from over 5 lakh people in Visakhapatnam and yoga demonstrations at more than 1 lakh locations across Andhra Pradesh.
• The Andhra Pradesh government is launching the ‘Yogandhra’ campaign, aiming to involve 2 crore people and train 20 lakh certified yoga instructors.
