On 12 September 2024, the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC) will lead the global observance of the United Nations Day for South-South Cooperation.

The theme for this years' United Nations Day for South-South Cooperation is “A Better Tomorrow with South-South Cooperation”.

This event aligns with the upcoming Summit of the Future, set to take place at the UN Headquarters in New York from 22 to 23 September 2024.

During the Summit, Member States will aim to agree on principles, commitments, and actions for a sustainable future.
