The Telangana government has nominated eminent writer and poet Jukanti Jagannatham for the prestigious "Sri Dasarathi Krishnamacharya Award" for this year.

The award, which includes a cash prize of one lakh rupees and a memento, will be presented to Jagannatham on the birth anniversary of Dasarathi Krishnamacharya.

The nomination was announced following the recommendations of a government-appointed committee. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy congratulated Jagannatham on his nomination for this esteemed honor.
