Justice Bhushan Ramkrishna Gavai set to be new CJI India

Justice Bhushan Ramkrishna Gavai will become the 52nd Chief Justice of India, succeeding Justice Sanjiv Khanna. His tenure will be brief, ending on November 23, 2025.
