Direction: Read the information carefully and answer the questions given below.
There are six persons in a society namely A, B, C, D, E and F traveling to different cities viz. Nashik, Udaipur, Delhi, Raipur, Chennai, and Chandigarh on two different dates i.e. 7 and 20 of the months January, April, and October but not necessarily in the same order. No two persons go on the same date of the month.
E goes to Nashik but not in January. Two persons who travel to Raipur and Chennai travel in the same month. E travels in a month which has 30 days but not on the 20th. D goes to Delhi on January 20. The number of persons who travel before those who travel to Chandigarh is equal to the number of persons who travel after those who travel to Nashik. F travels in October. There are four persons between B and C traveling to different cities. C does not travel to Udaipur. Neither A nor C travel to Raipur.
Four of the five are alike in a certain way, thus form a group. Find the one which doesn’t belong to that group.
B - Delhi
E - Chandigarh
F - Chennai
A - Raipur
D - Udaipur
- E goes to Nashik in April on the 7th since April has 30 days, and E does not travel in January.
- Two people, including B, travel to Raipur and Chennai in the same month. This month must be January, as D travels to Delhi on January 20.
- D goes to Delhi on January 20, making B travel on January 7. A must travel to Raipur on January 7.
- F must travel in October to fill this month's gap.
- There are four persons between B and C's travel dates. Thus, C travels to Chandigarh in October on the 20th.
- A travels to Raipur on January 7.
- The members belonging to the group: B, E, F, and A, visit different cities on the 7th, whereas D visits on the 20th.
- Option 5, D - Udaipur, doesn’t belong to the group.
