Mizoram Governor appoints Lady Air Force Officer as the first woman in India from Armed Forces as Aide de Camp(ADC)

Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati has appointed Sqn Leader Manisha Padhi, a 2015 batch Indian Air Force Officer as India's first Woman Aide-De-Camp(ADC) from the Indian Armed Forces.

  • Sqn Leader Manisha Padhi formally joined her post and reported to the Governor this forenoon where she was introduced to the officers and staff of the Raj Bhavan, Mizoram.
  • Previously, Sqn Leader Manisha Padhi was posted to three postings - Air Force Station, Bidar, Air Force Station, Pune, and lastly at Air Force Station, Bhatinda.
  • After her official appointment, Manisha reported to the Governor and was made acquainted with the officers and staff of the Raj Bhavan in Mizoram. 
  • Manisha hails from Berhampur and completed her education at C.V. Raman College of Engineering in Bhubaneshwar.
