- The first discount of 48% is applied:

- 48% of Rs 29,600 = Rs 14,208.

- So, the price after the first discount = Rs 29,600 - Rs 14,208 = Rs 15,392.

- Then, a further 15% discount is applied to Rs 15,392:

- 15% of Rs 15,392 = Rs 2,308.80.

- Therefore, the final sale price = Rs 15,392 - Rs 2,308.80 ˜ Rs 13,083.

- Total discount = Original price - Final price = Rs 29,600 - Rs 13,083 = Rs 16,517.
