Keeping in mind the concern for women’s safety and their empowerment in society, the Chhattisgarh government has announced the ‘Hamar Beti-Hamar Maan’ campaign in this state. Baghel tweeted that the campaign was aimed at protecting their honour and  convenience and to provide them essential services.

• The girls will be briefed how to handle critical situations.
• A special women patrol would keep an eye on girl schools, colleges and prominent places frequented by women.
• A mobile number will be issued on which women can register complaints and any misbehavior or crime they face.
• The government has also decided to deploy women prosecutors to investigate crimes related to women.
