STRONG stands for STring Representation Of Nanopore Geometry. It uses a system of letters to represent different atomic arrangements in the structure of nanopores. Each letter corresponds to a specific configuration of atoms at the edges of the nanopore.
For example, the letter 'F' indicates an atom that is fully bonded, while 'C' represents a corner atom bonded to two other atoms. These atomic configurations are essential for determining the various properties of nanopores.
