Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal announced a monthly pension of 10,000 rupees for the Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan awardees of the State besides, free travel facility in Volvo Buses of the State Government.

• The Chief Minister made this announcement during his visit to Karnal today while interacting with the media persons.
• Earlier this year, two persons from Haryana including Gurugram-based agro scientist Dr Bakshi Ram, and a gurukul teacher devoted to girls' education Dr Sukama were awarded Padma Shri Awards for their contribution.
